Women on Boards Conference 2009
I attended the WOB conference this week, what a sensational event. If you are a
seasoned director, an aspiring company director or a professional taking a
stand for women in business, you have to be there in 2010. Some of the
highlights for me were:
- listening to Arni Hole's (Director of Ministry children & equality, Norway) story of Norway where more than 30% of the company directors are now women AND the fertility rate continues to increase!

debating with David Gonski (chairman of the ASX) on the value of quotas
- meeting wonderful women from all around Australia, achieving awesome things in their various fields
- seeing how Emma Wimberley (QRC) is going about attracting more Gen Y's into careers in the resources sector
- being motivated by Sarah Cornally to have Couragous Conversations!
