Personal domains, all about EGO?

Really it is all about branding, whether you're building a new business or growing an existing one or just wanting to build your own profile. If you are looking for people to help you do any of that, you must make sure they understand the part your personal brand plays in the overall strategy.

Having your own domain is the ultimate in personal branding! If you are interested in building a profile in the market and making yourself available for public speaking, consulting and other such opportunities, you must register your own personal domain.

Also consider, in the current Australian job market, where 200 CEO's applying for the same job, each with master degrees and 2 with PHD's! How better to stand out from the crowd by having your own personal website.

In building my website I was reminded of this quote:

So go ahead, register your own personal domain and let your own light shine!
